Ratebni

Terms and conditions

Last updated:

These terms explain how Ratebni works for the shops that use it. By using Ratebni you agree to them, so please read them. We have kept them short.

Who we are

Ratebni (ratebni.com) makes software for 3D print and fabrication shops in Jordan. In these terms, "we" means Ratebni and "you" means the shop that subscribes, together with the people it adds as users.

The service

Ratebni is online software (software as a service) that helps a shop run its work: jobs, quotes, automatic slicing, messages to customers and reports. We keep improving it, so features may change or be added over time.

Prices, weights and print times that Ratebni works out are estimates based on the rates, machines, materials and settings you enter. Check a quote before you send it to a customer.

Accounts

Each shop has an Owner, who adds users and decides what each of them can do. Keep passwords private, and tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused. You are responsible for what is done under your shop's accounts, and for keeping the details you give us accurate.

Trial and payment

A new shop starts with a free one-month trial, which we set up for you after a demo. After the trial, your plan is billed monthly or annually, in US dollars (USD), at the price shown on our website when you subscribe. Plans differ in how many active users they allow.

There is no online card payment yet. We send you the payment details and record your payment ourselves. If a payment is overdue, we will contact you first; if it stays unpaid, we may suspend your shop until it is settled.

Acceptable use

Please use Ratebni fairly. In particular, do not:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to make or quote for items that are illegal to make or sell
  • upload files you have no right to use, or that contain malware
  • try to get into another shop's data, test or get around our security, or overload the service
  • send customers messages they have not agreed to receive, or that break the law
  • copy, resell or rent out the software itself

Your data and your customers' data

Your shop's data stays yours: your jobs, quotes, files and settings, and the details of your customers. We use it only to provide the service to you, keep it confidential, and never sell it.

For your customers' personal data (names, phone numbers, emails, national addresses and the like), your shop is the controller and Ratebni processes it on your behalf, under the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to collect it and for the messages you send. Our privacy and cookie policy explains how we handle personal data.

You can export your customers and reports from the app at any time, and ask us for a copy of the rest.

Availability

We work to keep Ratebni running and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We may pause it briefly for maintenance and updates, and some features depend on other providers, such as email delivery. We will tell you in advance about planned work that affects you where we can.

Liability

Ratebni is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Ending the service

You can stop using Ratebni at any time by telling us. Fees already paid are not refunded unless we agree otherwise. We may suspend or end a shop's access for non-payment or a serious breach of these terms, with notice where that is reasonable.

When a subscription ends, you can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days. After that we delete it, except anything the law requires us to keep.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Ratebni changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell your shop's Owners by email or in the app before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and any dispute is for the competent courts of the Kingdom. Personal data is handled under the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law.
